High School Hacks

All 8th grade students in Humble ISD can get advice about high school from high school students, and also visit with high school student clubs. The High School Hacks and Club Fair will be Thursday, April 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Kingwood Park High School in the Performing Arts Center, 4015 Woodland Hills Drive, Kingwood.

The High School Hacks panels will be from 6 to 7 p.m. and again from 7 to 8 p.m. Students from every high school in Humble ISD will answer questions that address common concerns of eighth-graders.

From 6 to 8 p.m. there will also be student representatives from clubs at each high school. Eighth grade students can learn what is available and get information from members of those clubs.

The High School Hacks and Club Fair is hosted by the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council. The Student Advisory Council meets throughout the year and is comprised of Humble ISD's students who were chosen as Students of Character in the eigth grade. At the end of each school year, each middle school selects one boy and one girl who best exemplify good character traits. Those students are invited to become members of the Superintendent's Advisory Council. Members of the Council are active participants throughout their high school years, providing a forum for Dr. Fagen to address topics such as graduation requirements, school culture, college/career readiness and more.
