Humble ISD New Superintendent

 Humble ISD Deputy Superintendent Roger Brown announced his retirement in May, and the district recently hired Crosby High School Principal Terry Perkins to serve in the position. Perkins has 21 years of experience working in education, as he worked in Fort Bend and Mineral Wells ISDs before starting at HISD in 2000. During his time in HISD, Perkins worked as a government teacher and basketball coach at Humble High School, an economics teacher at Atascocita High School, an assistant principal at Ross Sterling Middle School and Kingwood Park High School, and an associate Principal at Atascocita High School, according to the release. Perkins’ official start date as deputy superintendent at HISD will be July 1.
