Niche.com gathers data from many public sources such as the “Department of Education, U.S. Census, and FBI” and combines them with other feedback and reviews from parents, students, and other residents within a community. Once all of the data has been gathered and analyzed, Niche’s Research Team will decide which factors are most important to include into the overall grade of a school, workplace, or community. The overall grades for schools are determined by the majority letter grade from the following individual grades - Academics, Teachers, Clubs and Activities, Administration, Food, Diversity, College Prep, Health and Safety, Sports, and Resources and Facilities. Many schools have been graded with extra information that is extremely valuable to know such as academic proficiency, cost of living, other programs that may be offered, other rankings, and more. This has been the most useful platform for those looking to relocate or find a new job, which is why Kingwood – Royal Brook is very happy that Niche has included the community’s high school.

Kingwood Park High is located in the Kingwood area which has also received an A+ from Niche. Communities are rated by their Public Schools, Housing, Jobs, Cost of Living, Outdoor Activities, Crime and Safety, Nightlife, Diversity, Weather, Health and Fitness, Commute, and whether or not the community is Good for Families. Like Niche.com’s education ratings, the community ratings are also determined by the majority letter grade overall from each of the factors.

Kingwood Park High School received A’s in Academics and College Prep which are both incredibly important for a student’s success. Creating an A-grade environment in high school helps students to focus and develop a system for learning and test-taking that makes the most sense for them. Bringing those skills into college prepares them for extreme time-management that is crucial to their success in their careers. Being in the Top 20% of Harris County’s Public High Schools list shows that Kingwood Park High School students are without a doubt ready to take on the world.
