New Caney High School’s Cosmetology Department is Ready to Serve the Community
Students at New Caney High School’s Cosmetology Department are ready for clients from the Kingwood Royal Brook community!
This specialized Career Technical Education program provides students a way to practice their craft in the beauty industry and prepares them to work straight out of high school. Students learn about all the aspects of salon service in this course, such as perming, haircuts, colors, Brazilian blowouts, manicures, pedicures, and more. Cosmetology Instructor, Cynthia Holloman, even says that “NCHS Cosmetology is a full-service salon!”
NCHS Cosmetology charges clients a discounted rate since this is how students get hands-on experience to perform the services they are learning. In this program, students will complete the required number of hours for an adequate salon service education then test to determine if they are ready for a career in the beauty industry after high school. The only way these ambitious students will be able to pass the test and perfect their craft is with the help of their community. The NCHS Cosmetology class is committed to serving their clients the best they can and will be working toward making people feel beautiful for the rest of their lives. The Kingwood Royal Brook community has the power to help motivate these students to achieve their goals. Please consider supporting the New Caney High School Cosmetology class!
