Royal Brook Community Foundation Donates Gifts to Local Police Dept.
Yesterday, board members of the Royal Brook Community Foundation, a 501(c)4 not-for-profit entity, which serves as the charitable arm of Kingwood at Royal Brook, met with the Kingwood Division of the Houston Police Department to donate a new grill, refrigerator, paint, and seating for their lobby area.
The board members used funds to support a local endeavor, and they believed the Houston Police Dept. in Kingwood was an ideal fit for the Foundation and its mission.
“We are so grateful for the donations. I can’t wait to fire up the grill with hot dogs soon and feed our entire department,” said Rose M. Terry, Captain of the Kingwood Division.
Donations such as the grill and refrigerator are especially needed for everyday use and times when the police team members are forced to stay overnight during unforeseen events.
